HEARTS AND HANDS COMMUNITY OUTREACH

The Hearts and Hands Community Outreach Ministry is a group of your parish friends and neighbors who are working on a variety of projects to help those in need in Parker, Douglas County, Denver, Colorado and the world.  The Outreach Ministry includes workers who help with Sunday Community Suppers, Habitat for Humanity, the Annual  Blood Drive, Loaves and Fishes, CROP Walk, Thanksgiving and Christmas Outreach, and many other activities.  A committee to oversee the outreach activities meets on the second Monday of most months to identify new places where we can help, review the work we have been doing, recommend outreach expenditures to the vestry, and discover ways that we can make our parish aware of the scope of outreach activities that are taking place. 

How can you help with the Hearts and Hands Community Outreach?  You can –

• join the committee in its coordinating work
• participate in one of the existing outreach activities
• volunteer to lead a new outreach activity for our parish
• contribute new ideas for outreach to the committee
